GCR was invited by the Ministry of Industry KEMENPERIN to represent APTIKNAS and to speak in the IoT sub-forum of TIICF (Taiwan – Indonesia Industrial Collaboration Forum) 2019 in December 9th and 10th in Taipei, elaborating its experience and future plans in Smart Education. Over 200 attendances gathered in Le Meridien Taipei Hotel for this event of TIICF 2019.
TIICF 2019 was organized and hosted by Chinese National Association of Industries to echo to Taiwanese government’s New Southbound Policy and to promote the bilateral exchange and cooperation between Taiwan and Indonesia in the Industry 4.0 field. Its IoT sub-forum focused specifically on how Taiwan can leverage its technology advantages and pursue business opportunities along with Indonesia’s Industry 4.0 development roadmap.
Andi Tanudiredja, Country Manager of GCR Indonesia, delivered a keynote speech on the first day of the event about building IoT awareness to students and community in Indonesia. As member of APTIKNAS, GCR Indonesia has actively participated in seminars and workshops, with innovative and various solution selections on its platform, to educate the youth to be a capable IoT designer ready for every industry. The results are appealing. More than 1,000 audiences from middle schools to universities have attended and had hands-on experience with the latest IoT technologies, preparing themselves well for their careers in the era of IoT. On the other hand, in the initiative with Onno Centre, Indonesia’s ICT key opinion leader Mr. Onno W. Purbo uses GCR’s IoT starter kits in video tutorials introducing self-made IoT sensors, not only inspiring young children’s creativity but also reaching even more people outside the Jakarta metropolitan area.
