GCR and Masterdata Hold Smart Retail Portal Seminar for Channels

GCR news [Thursday, 12 November 2015]

Global Channel Resources (GCR) will cooperate with Masterdata – its alliance partner in Indonesia to host Smart Retail Portal Seminar. Channels including system integrator (SI) and value-added resellers (VAR) are cordially invited to register to attend the seminar at Grand Mercure Jakarta Harmoni on November 19, 2015. The seminar starts from 9am to 4pm, and a buffet lunch is provided.

Underlying the theme of Smart Retail Automation: Empower business with must-have shopper insights, Smart Retail Portal Seminar will picture an O2O2O (Online to Offline to Online) scenario for channels providing services to the retail industry. O2O2O means to continuously engage and interact with consumers across traditional and digital channels and create a virtuous circle of retail. It is essential especially for the brick and mortar stores who are facing enormous pressures from e-commerce and discount retailers.

GCR operates an online marketplace for smart SaaS and connected IoT total solutions, where its channel partners may source, integrate, assemble, promote and deploy the smart SaaS and connected IoT total solutions from independent solution vendor partners to their customers. On the other hand, Masterdata owns a comprehensive product portfolio and channels who can leverage GCR’s offering to provide added-on values and enhance their bonding with customers.

In the seminar, GCR and Masterdata will address and demonstrate a video analysis system, a self-monetize Wi-Fi marketing portal, and a cloud-based access point controller. The video analysis system can count visitor traffic of a storefront, track these visitors’ shopping routes, and identify their demographic breakdown, helping the retailers to evaluate their marketing campaigns and adjust product placement dynamically. In addition, the Wi-Fi marketing portal and access point controller together are a brilliant proximity marketing broadcasting tool for commercial venues that provide Wi-Fi coverage for consumers as a requisite or compliments. In shopping malls and in cruise centers, the access point controller can steam mobile advertisement to consumers’ connected mobile devices, and the Wi-Fi marketing portal provides solid statistics for stores to plan promotion of their products and services in a cost-effective way.
